Fly family times

I just love this family. Every time I see the girls I know I am in for a treat, so when I finally got the opportunity to photograph mom and dad I knew it was gonna be  an even greater time! Boy was I not disappointed. This family had so much flava and coolness I didn’t want it to end. They were down for anything, even creepy barns that looked like Norman Bates and his mama lived in the house on the hill. But it was all worth it. I swear if Vogue had a family issue they would make the cover.

Thanks Roberts fam for making our time together so much fun and making me turn my swag game up a notch or three! Love ya!

Grown Women | Washington, DC Family Photographer

I had the honor and privilege of photographing these lovely ladies recently. They came to show and prove that you don’t have to have any reason to take photgraphs other than just being foxy and fabulous. They sure proved it and to top it all off did it in the freezing cold with tons of snow on the ground.

Thank you ladies for a wonderful funky fresh time!

There’s nothing better than family, Silver Spring Family Photographer

Holidays are always nice because you get together with family from all over the country and just chill. Simply enjoy one another. For the short amount of time that you are together it just seems to refuel you until you meet again at the next event. What makes it even richer is when you have an opportunity to have those memories documented to save for generations to come. Isaac called me, from an awesome recommendation from the uber talented, ever colorful Beth Jansen, and said that it’s not often that his entire family can get together all at once and he wanted to take advantage of this time and take a group photograph. Well you know I just can’t take one picture so we made the most out of it! Not only were they gorgeous but so much fun. I even had the chance to meet and photograph the beautiful LaChanze. I knew she looked familiar. I had a chance to see her on Broadway in Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple , where she won the Tony Award for best leading actress in a musical among many other things.   You couldn’t even tell how we were freezing our butts off from the looks on their faces but it was oh so worth it. Made working with this large group a cherished experience as they made me feel like part of the family.

Thanks Fordjour family for including me in your Holiday family time. See you next Christmas!

The heartbeat of the family. The beautiful mom, dad, grandma, grandpa.

There is just something that I love about this photograph. The love between a grandpa and his youngest grandson.

Hey there Celie! What a beautiful bunch right!

Those eyes just melt my heart.

Couldn’t leave little brother out right! You don’t have to have kids to take awesome photots. Hey now!

Three generations. Love it!

Don’t you just want to pinch those cheeks!

Never too cool to get kisses from daddy.

Sister’s Keeper : Upper Marlboro, MD Childrens Photographer

I had such a ball photographing these little cuties. So far apart in age but they look so much alike! So touching how the mini me was so attached to her big sister and how attentive the big sister was to her mini me. It warmed my heart on such a cold cold day. They were such troopers! Thanks moms for styling them so well. I do believe they had a ball! I just wish I had caught Big sister’s rap she made up..FREESTYLIN! These little girl are going places!

The Bond Between a Mother and Son, Upper Marlboro Family Photographer

I love to photograph mothers and sons. The bond between the two of them is something that is the sweetest thing I’ve ever known. I got a little jealous when photographing these photos just wanting to do the same thing with my boys because before you know it they are out the door and off to college. So mommy’s enjoy the moments and cuddle your sons while it lasts.

Thanks Jasmine for allowing me to capture the bond you have with you and your beautiful boy!
