Hey, I'm Tosha thanks so much for visiting my blog! I'm a Washington DC Metro area based photographer who loves to have fun. I'm also a mom of three fun loving kids who have inspired me to do what I do (besides running from me when I come anywhere near them with my camera!) as well as a wife to a wonderful husband who says that I am "eclectic" (just a kind way of saying I'm a weirdo I guess). I use only available light, shoot in my natural light studio or on-location. It's my goal to create timeless art for you and your family that expresses who you truly are in this point in your lives. I absolutely love what I do, and I look forward to capturing your life!!

Be Mine ~ Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions

Feels like Christmas was just yesterday and wam bam boom Valentine’s Day is around the corner! I have had several of my past clients ask me about doing Valentine’s Day mini-sessions. It was not something I planned on doing, but since my clients are so good to me, I decided I would return the favor. So…here’s the deal. There are ONLY 7 sessions available, these are 20 min sessions so only 4 people per session (additional folks are $10 per person). There will not be time for any clothing changes and the location is predetermined by me. Once you book your session I will share all of the secret sweet details of the setup etc so we can make sure you are dressed perfectly for our play date! Don’t think for a minute that this is just for the kiddos. Heck, you’ll be the coolest kid at work passing out Vday cards with your gorgeous face on it! This is perfect for couples, families or even single folks who just feel like being fabulous!

Mini sessions last 20 minutes and are ideal for smaller families or updated portraits of the kids – perfect for getting the latest family picture for your holiday cards! We can actually take quite a few shots in that time frame and try to get as many posed and natural looking shots as possible in that time frame. We move quickly, so please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before your session starts so we can get going on time. We cannot make up for time that is missed
Mini sessions are limited to individuals and families of 5 or smaller. If you have a larger family, we recommend you book a full session so we can accomplish all the different shots typically needed for larger families. But couples, singles, friends etc. are more than welcome to join us!
Sessions are booked on a first come, first serve basis. All bookings do require full payment to hold your spot. When you book, we will send you a contract, more details, tips for what to wear and shoot location and parking details.
The session will include 25 Holiday cards as well as 10% off a la carte items like these signature wall art pieces that hang in my studio!

Groovilicious 34th Birthday!

So last week I celebrated 34 years of life on this earth. I was overwhelmed by all the FAcebook and Twitter love! I ate all week until my heart was content and ODed on cupcakes! Literally! Continuing with yearly tradition, I got in front of the camera and took some fun photos! My darling daughter did the honors of being my photographer. I am so grateful to God for allowing me such a glorious 34 years and wonderful family and friends to share it with. Happy Birthday to me!

Finally 40

So, just to take one look at this young lady you would think. Oh no..she is not nearly 40. Can't be! Yup, this beautiful young lady will be turning 40 very soon and to commemorate this grand event she had me snap some pictures of her. I felt like I was working with one of my high school seniors, not to mention that I had photographed her 19 year old daughter a few times before. I just knew the mama was gonna BRING IT! So with a little help from her baby girl this hot mama came out of her conservative shell and BROUGHT IT!

This is what turning 40 should be all about! Live your life like it's golden Theresa!
