Hey, I'm Tosha thanks so much for visiting my blog! I'm a Washington DC Metro area based photographer who loves to have fun. I'm also a mom of three fun loving kids who have inspired me to do what I do (besides running from me when I come anywhere near them with my camera!) as well as a wife to a wonderful husband who says that I am "eclectic" (just a kind way of saying I'm a weirdo I guess). I use only available light, shoot in my natural light studio or on-location. It's my goal to create timeless art for you and your family that expresses who you truly are in this point in your lives. I absolutely love what I do, and I look forward to capturing your life!!

Confidence….with a smile

You know, it's not often that I get a man who actually LIKES to take photos. Usually it's like pulling teeth to get the male species behind my camera even for a brief moment. I mean my own husband runs from me when I come at him with a camera, which might explain why we have not had a family photo in over 6 years (note to self)

I usually hear the same ol thing, "Oh, I don't like to take pictures".."I'm not photogenic". That is until they realize that they have not been dragged to the Picture People or Sears and forced to… say it with me …"Say Cheese!". But lately I have been getting a lot of guys who is just au natural and comfortable with himself and the person behind the camera. Comfortable enough to just be himself and let me do my job.

I had a feeling about these two! I knew it from the moment I spoke to the fiance that this engagement session was going to be "rockin'"! I guess you call it photographer's intuition. So when they showed up on my doorstep with these funky bright colors and these beautiful smiles it was all over from there. You can say the honeymoon period for them has never ended. You would think they had just met by being around them but they have been together for years and now they are just solidifying their love for each other just to take it a step further. These two made me fall in love again with my hubby. Sending a gentle reminder to never let the love fizzle out from 2 months to 20 years. I can see them at 80 years old snuggling up and laughing at each other's corny jokes in their rocking chairs and I'm going to be right there to capture the moment at their 50th wedding anniversary.

Lawrence and NIckia..Here's to love! Thanks for allowing me into your beautiful love fest for each other.

When I got the call from LaTonya I was thrilled that she was engaged and even more thrilled that she decided to take engagement photos with us instead of JCPenney! When she told me that her fiance was over 6 feet tall against her 5'2 I was even more excited to see what I would do with these two. So I met them at the National Harbor on a beautiful but humid day. They were so beautiful together to say the least. You can tell they really like each other and that's always a good thing.

LaTonya and Craig, enjoy this time if planning for your wonderful day together but most of all look forward to the rest of your lives as husband and wife. I'm glad that I could take part in this moment of your lives. Here's to the two of you…beautiful..loved..and blessed!

Danny and Krissah. I had so much fun with them in Wheaton last week. They are a couple full of fun and laughter but also know how to love and care for one another. Their love and respect is so evident even from the first moment you meet them. Since I cannot put words together as beautifully as Krissah I will just have to show you with a visual. Danny and Krissah I cannot WAIT to take part in your wedding next month! I know I am in for a RIDE of a LIFETIME! Love you guys!
