Hey, I'm Tosha thanks so much for visiting my blog! I'm a Washington DC Metro area based photographer who loves to have fun. I'm also a mom of three fun loving kids who have inspired me to do what I do (besides running from me when I come anywhere near them with my camera!) as well as a wife to a wonderful husband who says that I am "eclectic" (just a kind way of saying I'm a weirdo I guess). I use only available light, shoot in my natural light studio or on-location. It's my goal to create timeless art for you and your family that expresses who you truly are in this point in your lives. I absolutely love what I do, and I look forward to capturing your life!!

The last time I saw this little doll we were celebrating Independence Day and now she is truly showing her independence. She just couldn’t keep still. Had to show me how fast she could crawl away from me or towards me to grab my camera. Then she just had to show off and show me how she could pull up on furniture and walk around if she wanted to. Such a show offThanks for coming to visit me again mommy and little “R”. Next time I see you I’m sure I will be chasing YOU through the park with my camera!

Recently I had the chance to photograph a real life Cabbage Patch Kid. Oh I am so serious. To the point when I undressed her to put her in my baby basket I had to check to see if Xavier Roberts was indeed scribbled on her buns. But fortunately it wasn’t. She was so scrumptious and delicious and oh so much fun. So alert for a newborn she fell in love with me at first sight as I did her. So in love that she felt comfortable peeing in my hand. Comes with the job I guess.

Mom, thanks so much for trusting me with your living doll. It was truly an honor and a treat!

I had such a ball photographing these little cuties. So far apart in age but they look so much alike! So touching how the mini me was so attached to her big sister and how attentive the big sister was to her mini me. It warmed my heart on such a cold cold day. They were such troopers! Thanks moms for styling them so well. I do believe they had a ball! I just wish I had caught Big sister’s rap she made up..FREESTYLIN! These little girl are going places!

When this little ball of sunshine came to the studio I just knew I was in for a treat. The moment we met she greated me with the biggest grin as if to say “Ared you ready for this!” Boy or boy I never knew someone with such short legs could make me sweat and run and play so hard. We had a lot of fun and I think by the time she left we were both ready for a nap.

Thanks mommy for letting me hold some of that joy!

It’s always nice to see this family considering they flew my all the way ti Haiti last year to photograph their little princess. They are back in DC and stopped by the studio for a visit. So I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics of my little Haitian Princess, although I can’t take credit for most of these as they were taken by my 10 year old daughter! It’s a shame that she’s not even a year and I must have photographed her about 4 times already (not including when she was in the belly. So you know the 1 year shoot is going to be major!

This is how I get the babies to love me and give me all the cute smiles and poses…I love them first!
