When I got the call from LaTonya I was thrilled that she was engaged and even more thrilled that she decided to take engagement photos with us instead of JCPenney! When she told me that her fiance was over 6 feet tall against her 5'2 I was even more excited to see what I would do with these two. So I met them at the National Harbor on a beautiful but humid day. They were so beautiful together to say the least. You can tell they really like each other and that's always a good thing.
LaTonya and Craig, enjoy this time if planning for your wonderful day together but most of all look forward to the rest of your lives as husband and wife. I'm glad that I could take part in this moment of your lives. Here's to the two of you…beautiful..loved..and blessed!

I have had the pleasure of knowing these two beautiful souls for a bit of time now and I must say I am truly honored that they chose me to photograph this special moment in their lives. I remember looking at their wonderful wedding photos and thinking "Man every one of the photos are beautiful." I couldn't wait to get my lens on these two. So photogenic! They went from being lovey dovey newlyweds to enjoying these moment of maternal bliss and I must tell you that they truly deserve all the joy and happiness that they are and will bask in when their new bundle of joy arrives. She will be loved beyond measure and I can't wait to meet her.
Terrence and Jackie thanks so much for allowing me a moment into the love that you two share for one another. I hope I did it justice!
P.S. Her make up artist was a gem! Felt like we were old friends. Having a fabulous make up artist on the set always a plus!

The Wedding starts at 7pm and it's about 4pm and it's been raining buckets all day long. "Please tell me that there are indoor accommodations", I asked because I was unable to attend rehearsal the night before coming from ATL. "Yes, but it's not going to be the same, she wants an outdoor wedding, and it just won't be the same." says Tosh. "I know but it looks like we might need a plan B". Low and behold around 5:30pm the sky stopped crying! Yes, Thank You Lord, prayer really works! The castle was gorgeous with a spiral staircase and all. A perfect setting for a fairy tale wedding complete with fairies, knights, a jester and a fairy godmother. Simply beautiful. Perfect for a Princess and A (temporarily) Sad Prince which was the name of the Production that was far from the typical wedding ceremony. Ceremonies like this makes being wedding photographers worth while. By the time it was all said and done a very "Happy" Prince and his Ebony Princess drove off into the night to begin their new life together and live happily ever after

This little doll baby was such a treat. I need this session to fulfill my fresh baby fetish. Little "S" was so small. Just home from the hospital and all of 4 pounds. When mom called me and said she wanted pictures of her brand new bundle of joy I couldn't wait. She was so small and cute as a button. The perfect little angel. I just wanted to wrap her in a blanket and stick her in my camera bag. She didn't fuss much at all just gave me all the cute little diva poses that she could. She was so alert for such a young baby. I felt like she was watching my every move then she fell asleep.
Mom thanks so much for giving me the freedom to do what my heart's desire was with your little one. I felt like we had known each other for years. It was great to get those "i want a baby" kicks off for the moment. I know that whenever I have the urge to have another one all I have to do is borrow little "S" for a moment. Now here's a little peek into her world.
